Sidebars_challenge

As a new student population arrives each year, it is important for MICA to maintain the relationships developed in East Baltimore so that the projects and proposals developed by the students are relevant to the community and have their support.

Sidebars_solution

The Switchboard will create an ongoing dialogue between community leaders and MICA students working in East Baltimore. It will be an opportunity for the students to learn about the neighborhood from the perspectives of long-term residents and for the community to share in the creative process the students are going through.
