The groups had nine weeks to create their designs. For many of the high school students, this was their first exposure to graphic design. Design students worked with them to learn about the creative design process - brainstorming concepts, workflow, time management and deadlines, and how to work and collaborate on a team.
At the end of the nine weeks, the class had created 8 different designs all successfully communicating the idea of tolerance. Both parties - mentors and mentees - learned lot and were enriched by this experience.
