Design for Eco and Social Sustainability

Students from the Integrated Learning program at Otis College of Art and Design partner with children at the Accelerated Charter Elementary School (ACES) to design and implement a series of projects that focus on the theme of ecological and social sustainability. ACES, a small dual-language elementary school, serves an often overlooked and under-served community of children in South Central Los Angeles. Otis students met with these children and their families and studied their campus looking for opportunities where design projects could improve the learning environment.
